  • * There are two types of fee for IEEE Member, IEEE-IES Member, Non IEEE Member and IEEE Life Member;
    the fee including Banquet ticket and the fee without Banquet ticket.
  • * Please note that seat availability of the Banquet is limited and application will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

    Students are required to submit a scanned copy (in either jpeg or pdf format) of their student ID or student certificate letter from their supervisors via online registration form.
    Please be advised that student rate will not be applied for adult students with full time job.
    Student registrations are not valid for authors registering a paper.
  • *2: Tickets for the Welcome Reception (Nov.9) or Banquet (Nov.11) can be purchased for Accompanying guests.

  • *3: Registration Requirement for Paper Presentation
    For the papers to be included in the program, authors should meet the following conditions:
    • - Each paper must have one Regular Rate registration completed by one of the authors.
      Student Member registrations are not valid for authors registering a paper.
      In IECON2015, IEEE Life member is dealt with differently in terms of Proceeding Publications.
      If you are an IEEE Life member and are the author who submits the final paper to IECON2015,
      please contact to Office of IECON2015 whose e-mail is ""!
    • - Complete the conference registration and payment by August 31, 2015   September 7, 2015.
    • - If you would like to submit two papers, please apply for "Additional paper" instead of making two registrations, so that you can obtain the discounted rate.
    • - If you would like to submit three or more papers, please register twice (one registration with additional paper AND another registration). When you make a 2nd registration, please add "2" after your family name.
  • *4: Up to 6 pages are allowed for each paper. Authors may submit over-length paper up to 10 pages by paying for “Additional Page" fee.

  • * Any bank charges including the ones of paying banks or intermediary banks should be borne by the applicants.
  • * For international bank transfer, the transaction fees of banks in both the source and destination countries might be deducted from your payment. If the amount of received payment is less than that of registration fee, you will be asked to pay the balance on-site.
    For your information, the following paying bank's charges are required in Japan:
    Remittance charge (always required): approx. JPY 1,500
    Lifting charge (depending on your bank): approx. JPY 2,500
  • * If the remittance covers more than one person, please inform us of the name of each participant.
  • * If you require an invoice for the payment, please contact the Registration Office after online registration.
  • * Receipt will be provided at the conference site.

Confirmation

If you have paid the registration fee by credit card, Registration Confirmation will be sent to the registered e-mail address automatically.

If you pay the fee by bank transfer, a reply e-mail with bank information will be sent to the registered e-mail address. After confirming your payment, Registration Confirmation will be sent by the Registration Office.

Please print out the Registration Confirmation e-mail and present at the registration desk to receive the Congress materials and a printed receipt.

If you do not receive any e-mail message within 24 hours, please contact the Registration Office.

Registration Correction

If there is anything to be changed or corrected on your registration data, please contact the Registration Office.

Cancellation

If you cancel your participation in the conference, please be sure to notify the Registration Office by e-mail or fax immediately. The following cancellation fee will apply, based on the date when the office receives notification of cancellation. However, if you are the author of the papers listed on the conference proceedings, your registration fee will not be refunded.

Visa Information

Citizens of certain countries are required to obtain a visa to enter Japan. Please check the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) to know if you need to obtain a visa and the visa application procedures:

The organizer will provide assistance to prepare the document for visa application.

Before you apply for assistance, you are required to take the following steps.

1. Complete your registration with full payment of the fee
2. Book a Flight
3. Reserve a Hotel
* The period of your stay must be scheduled for a maximum of 14 days (including the arrival & departure day in Japan).
